Holly Street Intersection Rehabilitation

Active Project Status

Updated:

 July 2017

Project Description:

This project consists of replacing three stop controlled intersections (Powers, Berry and Prentice) along Holly Street.

Project Manager:

John Wannigman

Project Status:

The two south intersections of the Holly Street Intersection Improvements, Powers Avenue and Berry Avenue, are currently under construction.  The final concrete pavement for the Holly Street alignment is scheduled to be replaced in late July following with the side streets. When the concrete pavement is replaced, temporary signals will be placed at Powers and Berry to alternate one-way traffic through this stretch of Holly until such time as the concrete gains enough strength to be open to traffic.  This one-way signalized operation will begin on a Friday evening and extend for one and a half weeks.  Electronic signs will be placed on Holly Street 3 days in advance of the planned one-way traffic operation.  Side streets (Preserve Drive, Powers, and Berry), will have to close while the one-way operation is active and when the concrete is placed on the side streets.  Signs will be placed on the side streets three (3) days in advance to notify motorists of the associated closures.  Each side street has an alternate route.
