There are a variety of free classes offered for those 50 and over.


Senior Activities
Focus 50+ - Mondays, 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. Free. This is an ongoing program that provides unique opportunities for adults 50+ to explore and use their talents and creativity while learning exciting new skills. Curtis Dancers - Mondays, 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. Learn a variety of dances set to great music. There may be the opportunity to perform at various functions. Please call Cathy Pate, 303-486-5766, for more information.
Harmonikats - Mondays, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Learn to play the harmonica in a relaxed, friendly environment. You'll learn several songs to entertain your family and friends. Bring a C note harmonica. Please call Cathy Pate, 303-486-5766, for more information.

Monday, November 6: Aging Successfully. Join Julie Trail, Doctor of Physical Therapy, as she addresses how to move and maneuver safely around your house.  

Monday, November 13: It's a Party! And Do-Over! Welcome guest performer Paul Borillo and be entertained with comedy, magic and theater.  

Monday, November 20: A Taste of Thanksgiving. Bring your favorite food, stories and photos of family celebrations and traditions as
                                      we celebrate Thanksgiving.

Monday, November 27: The Five Minute Workout. Learn simple moves that can be used to stay fit and strong in five minutes a day.

Monday, December 4: Karaoke Party. Sing and dance to your favorite songs Karaoke style. 

Monday, December 11: A Taste of Scandinavia II. Enjoy more flavors and history of Scandinavia. Worth repeating! 

Monday, December 18: A Taste of the Holidays. Join the group for a cookie bake and holiday festivities. This is the last scheduled
                                      event for 2017


Polarity Yoga: This four week program emphasizes polarity therapy, hatha yoga, tai chi, and martial arts as a means of improving posture, balance, flexibility and overall strength. Monday, October 16, 30 and November 6, 13, 20, 11:00 a.m. to noon, Greenwood Village City Hall. Fee $30; click here to register. 

Pickleball Clinic: Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America.  Combines elements of badminton, tennis and ping pong and is played on a tennis type court with badminton court dimensions.  Check back here for upcoming clinics.
