Administrative Services Department

The Administrative Services Department prides itself in contributing to successful Village outcomes by partnering with our customers to provide reliable information, services, and resources in an accurate and timely manner.  The Department consists of four service areas including City Clerk, Human Resource Services, Municipal Court Services, and Shared Technology Services.  Members of the department strive to be recognized as trusted experts and strategic partners in the realization of outcomes supporting a high quality of life in the Village.

City Clerk's Office 
The City Clerk’s Office, also known as Information Management Services, is responsible for collecting, managing, and disseminating reliable information in a timely manner.  Staff coordinates all of the Village’s general and special elections, administers all liquor licenses throughout the Village, and maintains all official records ensuring the accessibility of official Village documents.  The City Clerk’s Office maintains and provides information related to City Council including agendas and minutes of all City Council meetings and all official actions to maintain the Village’s legislative history.  

Human Resources
Human Resource Services staff support and contribute to creating and sustaining high performing work teams committed to achieving organizational outcomes.  Human Resources staff is responsible for administering personnel policies; analyzing, recommending, and administering appropriate compensation and benefit programs; providing guidance regarding employee relations issues; and providing assistance with recruitment and retention activities.  In addition, the Human Resource Services staff administers the loss control, workers’ compensation, and safety programs; manages the Village’s liability claims; and coordinates employee training and wellness programs. 

Municipal Court Services 
The Municipal Court Services staff manages the operations and activities related to the Greenwood Village court system.  Cases processed include traffic violations, parking violations, and other criminal misdemeanor offenses such as shoplifting, theft under $2,000, curfew, assault, disturbances, harassment, and possession or consumption of alcohol by an underage person.  The Municipal Court staff is responsible for processing all court cases and providing accurate information to guide customers through their court experience. 

Shared Technology Services 
The staff in Shared Technology Services provides reliable and purposeful information technology services to contribute to achieving organizational outcomes.  Staff ensures effective delivery of services through the application, maintenance, and improvement of all computer and telephone related technology, both hardware and software, used in the Village.  The services provided include data security and protection, system performance monitoring and tuning, deployment of new technology to provide service enhancements and work efficiencies, management of licensing and maintenance of software applications, and support of all technology systems in the Village.  In addition, staff provides extensive training to employees on the use of technology in support of expected outcomes.
