It’s no wonder why many national and international industry leaders, such as Great West Life and Annuity Insurance, Red Robin, First Data, Merrick and Company, Newmont Mining, Ring Central, Ciber and many others call Greenwood Village home.  With numerous retail and restaurant establishments, the community is a hub for people, activity and business.

Location

The City of Greenwood Village's location in the south metro region allows it to be conveniently reached from the entire metropolitan area by multiple ways of travel.  Within its boundaries, the Village has three light rails stations:

Dayton Street Station located at Dayton and I-225
Orchard Station, located at Orchard and Greenwood Plaza Boulevard
Arapahoe Station at Village Center, located at Caley and Yosemite, directly adjacent to I-25.  The station is also connected to the Village Center development, a primer site for office and retail.

In addition, the light rail extension to Denver International Airport (DIA), scheduled to open in 2016, will provide access to the Village by rail from DIA. Just 10 minutes to the east of Greenwood Village, Centennial Airport, one of the nations leading general aviation airports.

The Village also has convenient highway access with Interstate 25, the main north/south thoroughfare in Colorado, going directly through its boundaries. Just to the northeast, the Village is adjacent to I-225 which goes to the northeast metro area and DIA.  Just south of the village is E-470, which provides access to the southeast and southwest parts of the metro area.
