Park Pavillion & Fields Reservations
Shelter / Field Permits & Reservations
Greenwood Village parks are a favorite place for family get-togethers as well as office outings. A permit is required for groups larger than 30, but is also recommended for smaller groups to ensure shelter / field availability on a certain date and time. A permit guarantees exclusive use of a shelter/field for the time period specified on the permit. Parks are open from dawn to dusk.

Shelter and field permits are available through the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Department. See the list of neighborhood parks in which shelters / fields may be reserved, amenities, and for park availability calendars. A reservation is complete when the permit is signed by a department representative and a receipt is attached to the permit. Reservations / Permits cannot be completed online.

Single Date Reservation Permits
A single date permit guarantees a space at a shelter or field for an organized gathering of individuals including without limitation a birthday party, family reunion, fundraiser, carnival, or festival. Shelters and pavilions can be reserved in four hour blocks (10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) or for a full day. A reservation is complete when the permit is signed by a department representative and full payment is received. A permit may be requested by calling or emailing the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Department.

Please Note:  In response to the Stage 2 Drought declared by Denver Water, the Village activated some conservation measures effective April 1.  As a result, inflatable amusements are not allowed in parks and the Village will not be allowed to rent adjacent fields with shelter/pavilion rentals.

Special Occasion Alcohol Permits
A permit is not required for 3.2 beer in cans. An alcoholic beverage is defined as malt or vinous liquors but does not include “fermented malt beverages” (aka 3.2 beer). Alcoholic beverages (beer greater than 3.2%, wine, champagne) are allowed in Greenwood Village parks only when a Special Occasion Permit has been issued. A Special Occasion Permit may be requested by calling or emailing the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Department.

Season Long Reservation / Tournament Fees
Greenwood Village Parks, Trails, and Recreation Department grants permit for fields within our city parks for season long usage by organized youth groups. Permits are given to the youth organization (example: Colorado Storm) and not to individual coaches within the organization. A permit may be requested by calling or emailing the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Department.
