Recreation Reimbursement

The Parks, Trails and Recreation Department offers a Recreation Reimbursement Program for Greenwood Village residents.  Greenwood Village does not operate a recreation facility and this program takes the place of operating our own municipal recreation center. Each primary household in Greenwood Village is eligible for a $500 annual reimbursement maximum when participating in a program, class, or activity that qualifies for reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement shall be 50% of the cost of a single activity per person up to a maximum of $50 per receipt. Residents interested in taking advantage of this program can contact City Hall for a two-part recreation reimbursement form or may click here to print a Recreation Reimbursement Form

There are three major categories eligible for reimbursement: Municipal or special recreation districts, municipal golf courses and youth sport non-profit agencies. The boundaries for eligible agencies include the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) area which includes the northern boundary of Longmont; the southern boundary of Larkspur; the western boundary of Silver Plume; and the eastern boundary of Deer Trail.  Click here for an eligibility list.

1. MUNICIPAL AND SPECIAL RECREATION DISTRICTS: This category includes agencies like the Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club, South Suburban Parks and Recreation District and Parker, Englewood and Aurora Park and Recreation District. Again all municipal recreation facilities located within the DRCOG area are eligible. An itemized receipt is required with the name of activity, date, class fee and participant name.

2. MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES: Any municipal golf course located within the DRCOG region is also eligible for reimbursement. Rounds of golf and driving range balls are eligible.
