Adult Programs
Greenwood Village Summer Adult Softball program is played at Village Greens Park, just west of Cherry Creek Reservoir. There are five leagues during the summer months. Monday and Wednesdays are Coed Recreation leagues. The 12 game seasons begins the week of May 3 and the cost is $435/team. Tuesday and Thursday nights are Men's Recreation leagues. This program begins June 4, 2010. All leagues come with a post season tournament at no extra cost. All games are supplied one umpire and a scorekeeper. There are NO lights at Village Greens Park which allows for games at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. which is plenty of time to share in some team spirit after the games and get home at a reasonable time during the week. Adult Softball Tournament – This is a men’s slow-pitch softball tournament that will offer teams a 3 game guarantee. The tournament will take place on Saturday, September 11th at Village Greens Park. Team fee for the tournament is $195. There will also be a home run derby offered during the tournament. Players will have the option to pay $5 for 10 swings (players must supply their own pitcher). The player that hits the most home runs in the allotted 10 swings will be awarded a prize. There is no limit on the number of times a player can enter. Greenwood Village Summer Adult Coed 4 v 4 Volleyball programs are played on green grass at Village Greens Park. The league is on Wednesday nights and the cost is $75/team. Each team is guaranteed 7 matches with a tournament. Games are played between 6 and 8 p.m. The outdoor volleyball league is for ages 16 and up. Come out and relive your playground glory days in the Greenwood Village Adult Kickball League The league is on Tuesday nights at Village Greens Park, and the cost is $75/team. Teams are coed and must have minimum of 8 or a maximum of 11 players in the field. Teams may play a maximum of 6 individuals in the field, with no maximum number of female players. Greenwood Village offers a Men's Fall and Winter Adult Basketball league at West Middle School located at 5151 South Holly Street. Both the fall and winter leagues are $250/team and include 7 game guarantee and tournament. Teams play two 20 minute running clock halves.
