Dog Licensing
The City of Greenwood Village no longer requires citizens to register their dogs. However, there are many benefits to registering your dog with The Village. If your dog was to become lost, and turned in to the police department, the department would be able to easily locate the owner through information related to the dog's tag number.
Registration can be done either in person or by mail. Typically, rabies inoculations will be issued with either a one year or three year expiration date. Village dog licenses run concurrent with the vaccination and will be issued free of charge.
A current rabies certificate must be provided at the time of registration. For additional information, please contact the Greenwood Village Police Department at (303) 773-2525 or visit at 6060 South Quebec Street, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
