There is hereby created and established a Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission.

The Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission shall formulate and recommend a Parks and Trails Acquisition and Development Plan for the City. It shall formulate recreation policies consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and zoning ordinances of the City, and recommend such policies to the Council. The Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission shall exercise such other powers and duties as are assigned to it by this Charter and the ordinances of the City. (Added at election held Nov. 6, 1990)
