The map entitled “Official Map of the City of Greenwood Village, Colorado” as prepared by the city engineer and dated the 16th day of January, 1978, is adopted as the official map of the city. The official map shall be identified by the signature of the city engineer and bear the seal of the city under the following words: “This is to certify that this is the Official Map referred to in Section 1.08.010 of the City of Greenwood Village Code” together with the date of most recent certification by the city engineer. If any changes are made in the official map, such changes shall be entered promptly with an entry showing the nature of the change, which entry shall be signed by the city engineer and dated. The official city map shall be located in the office of the city engineer. The official map shall include all zoning and shall constitute the official zoning map of the city. The director of community development, or designee, shall notify the city engineer of all zoning changes adopted by the city council and the director of community development, or designee, shall be responsible for the updating and accuracy of the zoning map portion and shall affix his or her signature to the official map certifying the date of all adopted zoning changes.
