A. Time. The city council shall hold a regular meeting on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. City council may schedule a second regular meeting on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. A regular meeting to be held on the third Monday of the month shall be called by the clerk on the oral request of the mayor, or of any two members of the council, on at least seventy-two hours notice to each member of the council. When the day fixed for any regular meeting of the council falls upon a day designated by law as a legal or national holiday, such meeting may be held at the same hour on the next succeeding Monday not a holiday. All meetings shall be adjourned by 10:30 p.m. unless the council votes to extend the meeting.

B. Place. All regular meetings of the council shall be held in the council chambers of the city or such other place designated in writing to each member of the council at least twenty-four hours beforehand. (Ord. 1994-5; Ord. 1990-57; Ord. 1985-45 §§ 1, 2; prior code § 1-4-1)
