Any provision of these rules not governed by the Home Rule Charter or law may be temporarily suspended at any meeting of the council by a majority vote of all members of the council. The vote on any such suspension shall be taken by “ayes” and “nays” and entered upon the records. (Prior code § 1-4-19)
