A. Using the city’s comprehensive plan as a guide, the commission shall formulate a park and trail acquisition and development plan for approval by the city council.

B. The commission shall formulate recreation policies and recommend such policies to the city council.

C. The commission shall represent the city as may be provided for in any prior existing contractual relationships pertaining to the former greenbelt commission in existence as of the date of the creation of this commission.

D. The commission shall perform other such duties and functions as may be from time to time designated by the city council. (Prior code § 9-1-2)
