Chapter 15.40 M-C -- MIXED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
15.40.010 Intent.
The mixed commercial district is intended to provide a means
of establishing development plans and controls on development which:
A. Provide for development concepts not permitted in other
zone districts;
B. Permit tracts of land to be developed with group
buildings, complexes or a mix of commercial uses with a continuity of design and
development;
C. Permit detailed design control on sides where land use
planning, zoning and development would not be sufficiently controlled through
the use of other zone districts;
D. Provide a means for establishing detailed controls on a
site after consideration of the specific circumstances involved;
E. Provide a means by which development can be designed in
harmony with the physiographic characteristics of the land;
F. Provide a plan which functions as a guide to implement the
