The light industrial (L-I) district is intended to provide areas for research, warehousing, small product assembly, manufacturing and distribution with minimal dust, fumes, odors, refuse, smoke vapor, noise, lights and vibrations confined to the site upon which the principal use is located, in accordance with Sections 15.42.410 through 15.42.480. The light industrial district is also intended to allow sexually oriented businesses subject to certain reasonable and inform regulations enacted to promote the health, safety and welfare of the city and its inhabitants. The light industrial district is not intended to allow uses which are permitted in other zoning districts, or uses which are less intensive than light industrial uses. (Ord. 1999-13 § 1 (part))
