15.44.070 Parking stall/drive aisle design standards.
A. Parking stall dimensions. The dimensions of a standard parking stall and access aisle shall comply with the standards set forth in Table 6.0 and shown graphically in Figure 1.0, as well as the following:
1. Both sides of a parking stall shall be at the same angle;
2. No vehicle shall protrude into a drive aisle;
3. The perimeter of the parking lot and interior islands shall be marked with concrete wheel stops or curb; and
4. The minimum length of a parking stall which is adjacent to a landscaped island or walkway may be reduced by up to two feet (2') for vehicle overhang, if suitable ground cover is placed an equivalent distance behind the curb and a walkway of five feet (5') in width is provided.
