A. A permit issued by the city manager or designee shall be required for the construction or erection of any fence or decorative monument within the city.

B. Issuance of a permit does not ensure that any fence or decorative monument meets any private covenant affecting the property. In some instances, applicable covenants are more restrictive than this chapter, and property owners are advised to review the covenants affecting their property. (Ord. 2004-8 § 1 (part))
