Greenwood Village Sock Drive 2022
Sock it to 'Em Sock Drive
After collecting over 6,500 pairs of socks in 2021, the City of Greenwood Village is once again partnering with the Sock It To 'Em Campaign to collect new pairs of socks for adults and children this holiday season. Beginning Monday, November 28, 2022, the City invites you to drop off new pairs of socks at any of the City of Greenwood Village locations. Socks will be collected through Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
Sock It To 'Em is a Denver nonprofit with a mission to collect socks and deliver them to shelters, services, and agencies that serve those who are experiencing homelessness or who are in need. Socks are the No. 1 clothing need of those experiencing homelessness, and having clean, dry socks to wear regularly is one of the best ways to avoid visiting the emergency room due to a foot ailment. Over the past decade, Sock It To 'Em has given away over 950,000 pairs of socks in 41 states.
