Observational Drawing
Tuesday, October 4, 2022
Drawing is all about observation for we draw what we see. If you want to improve your drawing skills, then you must focus on how you see the objects and subjects that you want to draw. No matter the level, observational drawing is a learned skill. In this class students will be challenged to think differently when drawing.
Throughout the class students will learn about perceptual skills and hand-eye coordination. Through exercises students will discover the best strategies for introducing simple shapes, visual measuring, pushing value range, and more to be able to observe and draw their subject and/or object.
Tuesdays, October 4 through October 25
