July is National Park and Recreation Month, and we're celebrating the power of parks with a special Greenwood Village Bingo Game!

How to Submit Your Bingo Card

To participate, download and print the Bingo Card (or find the one inserted into your July Newsletter) and mark off five activities in a row. Once you've gotten bingo, bring your card to the Maintenance Facility, 10001 E. Costilla Ave., during regular business hours to redeem a special GV drawstring bag with fun items inside. Join Us for July Events

Mark off two of your bingo squares by attending our fun summer events:

Ice Cream Social: July 8, 2 to 3 p.m. at Silo Park 

Enjoy free ice cream served up by the Parks, Trails and Recreation Team.

Greenwood Village Day: July 27, 4 to 9:30 p.m. at Village Greens Park

Experience “A Space Odyssey” with out-of-this-world art, live entertainment, food trucks, rides, live music and fireworks. Tickets required. Tickets are now available! Register for tickets.

Since 1985, the United States has celebrated Park and Recreation Month in July to promote building strong, vibrant and resilient communities through the power of parks and recreation and to recognize the more than 160,000 full-time park and recreation professionals — along with hundreds of thousands of part-time and seasonal workers and volunteers — who maintain our country’s local, state and community parks. 

This year’s Park and Recreation Month theme — “Where You Belong” — celebrates the many ways park and recreation professionals across the country foster a sense of belonging in their community by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, essential services for all ages and abilities, and safe, accessible spaces to build meaningful connection.
