The Newsletter's New Look

The City of Greenwood Village is excited to present a new look and feel to our communications, including the Greenwood Village Newsletter. These changes, which include updated logos, colors and fonts, will help create consistency throughout our messaging.

While the core of what we do and how we communicate with Greenwood Village residents, businesses and stakeholders remains the same, this new visual representation serves to improve how we showcase our identity throughout Greenwood Village and beyond. You will begin to see these changes to our website and digital communications soon, and to things like street signage and vehicles over time, as they warrant replacement to avoid requiring additional funding.

Mayor's Message

Mayor George Lantz shares a new update on the Legislative Session, and brings his Celebrating 75 series into the 1970s when Greenwood Village established its first Master Plan and became a Home Rule city. Read the Mayor's Message.

Community Development: Neighborhood Services

From code enforcement and building permits to conveyance and contractor licensing, Neighborhood Services is a key service area within The City of Greenwood Village’s Community Development Department that is continuing to evolve to meet the needs of the community. Recent enhancements have been vital to ensuring Greenwood Village remains a well-maintained, thriving community. Learn more about code enforcement trends and the City's new online reporting tool.

Police: New Vehicle Design

After more than a decade, Greenwood Village Police Department has refreshed the patrol vehicle design. The new, modern look incorporates more reflective features for enhanced safety when driving at night. GVPD has so far added one patrol vehicle with the new design and plans to update the fleet according to the City’s existing vehicle replacement policy and schedule. If you see the new car out in the community, make sure to say hello!

Remember to Always Lock Your Car

As the weather warms up and you’re making plans to head out to Greenwood Village parks and trails, or to visit a local restaurant or shopping center, remember to always lock your vehicle. Even if you are just planning to make a quick stop, never leave your car unlocked. Car thefts that occur in public places are often crimes of opportunity, so make sure your vehicle is not an easy target for criminals. To report an emergency or life-threatening situation, please call 911. To report suspicious activity, a crime that has already occurred or file a police report, call GVPD at 303-773-2525.

Fiddler's Green Noise Complaint Line

In advance of the summer concert season, we’d like to remind the public that Greenwood Village Police Department maintains a dedicated phone number to respond to noise complaints related to Fiddler’s Green. To file a noise complaint, call 303-486-8275. The Police Department responds to and investigates all concerns reported via this line.
