As part of the City’s commitment to transparency and accountability, the City of Greenwood Village is pleased to share the results of its annual financial audit for the year ending December 31, 2024. The audit was completed by the independent audit firm Eide Bailly LLP.

In conjunction with the audit, the City published its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), which reports the organization’s financial position and activities over the past year. This report was shared with the Mayor and City Council at the June 2 City Council Meeting.

Eide Bailly LLP issued an unmodified, also referred to as “clean,” opinion on the City’s financial statements, confirming that they fairly present our financial position in all material respects. This assessment highlights the reliability of the financial information provided, ensuring that stakeholders can trust the data.

Behind these numbers is a team dedicated to ensuring every dollar is accounted for and spent responsibly. From tracking daily transactions to reconciling large capital projects, the Accounting & Financial Reporting staff work year-round to maintain accurate financial records and uphold the community’s trust.
