Municipal Election 2025

There are 12 official candidates to fill eight seats on Greenwood Village City Council in the November 4 Municipal Election. City Council members each serve a two-year term and are elected by the residents in their districts, with two City Council members representing each of the four districts. The mayoral seat, which is elected at-large and serves a four-year term, is not up for election until 2027.

Arapahoe County has already begun mailing some ballots, but please note the ballot drop box at Greenwood Village City Hall remains closed until October 10, when all ballots will be mailed. Should you wish to drop off your ballot before October 10, the closest open box is located at the Lima Branch, 6954 S. Lima St., Centennial.

Curtis Center for the Arts and Curtis Park Improvements

The Curtis Center for the Arts has a brand-new accessible entrance, thanks to a recently completed Capital Improvement Project led by the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Department.

Improvements to the Curtis Center’s back patio included rebuilding the ramp, stairs, railings, and portions of the retaining walls to ensure ADA-compliant access to the building’s lower level. Additionally, the back patio received lighting upgrades and a new landscape area was added between the access ramps.

The project also included improvements to Curtis Park’s irrigation system and storm drainage infrastructure. The park’s aging irrigation system was completely replaced with a new smart system, which will more efficiently serve the park’s approximately six acres of landscape area. Over 600 feet of new storm pipe was also installed, which will redirect storm flows from the lower level of the Curtis Center to the southwestern corner of the park and drain into the City’s storm drainage system.

Curtis Center patio improvements include an ADA accessible ramp.
