Parks, Trails & Open Space Areas

Greenwood Village’s most significant open space area, the Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve, provides picturesque views of the Rocky Mountains and a peaceful setting for users to relax, reflect and enjoy the natural environment. It is also home to award-winning parks such as Westlands Park and Silo Park, where families can play in the playground or enjoy a picnic in the park.

Additionally, Greenwood Village maintains a skateboard park at William McKinley Carson Park & Skate Park, and equestrian parks including Rollin D. Barnard Park and Alexander Lane Equestrian Park. The City is fortunate to have two significant regional trail systems traversing through the community: the High Line Canal Trail on the west side of the city and the Cherry Creek Trail on the east side of the city.
