Amenities

Village Greens North Park provides unique adventure recreation opportunities. The park maintains its dryland character with groupings of native and dryland grasses and plants. The park includes a 1.2-mile loop walking/biking trail that links to the regional Cherry Creek Trail. This trail also provides a link to the Dayton Street Light Rail Station.  The park has a large patio area, tables with seating and shade structures and a year-round plumbed restroom.

18-Hole Disc Golf Course

The 18-hole disc golf course is a beginner-intermediate course approximately 6,000 linear feet long. Each hole consists of a concrete pad box and a basket as a target. Cairn signs beside each tee box provide a basic map of the hole and its par. The course does not require tee times, and access to the course is on a first-come, first-served basis. This is not a tournament course. Please review the course rules and etiquette

Mountain Bike Skills Course

The mountain bike skills course is approximately 2.75 miles long and provides a single-track trail experience. The course contains over 100 obstacles, which vary in difficulty, ranging from beginner to black diamond obstacles. Each obstacle in this area has a bypass should the rider choose not to attempt an obstacle. At the north end of the single track are two smaller, more challenging loops: the hill loop and the prairie loop. The hill loop has more steep climbs and even segments of track containing difficult, black diamond, obstacles and no bypasses. Riders are reminded to wear protective gear and to ride within their skill limits. The rider’s approach speed, line and balance will affect their ability to maneuver over the different features successfully. Please review the course etiquette, rules and details.

The Pond

The pond was recently expanded and designed to be a visual amenity in the park. The pond is used to irrigate the athletic fields at Village Greens Park.
