Municipal Court - Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens if I miss my court date?
   If you are scheduled for court and neglect to appear, you will receive notice from the court with a new arraignment date where you will be required to appear. Failure to appear at this date will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest or the full points being assessed to your driver's license if the matter is a traffic violation.
2. What if I move, and don't receive a court notice?
   You are responsible for notifying the court at the above telephone number of any change in your address. Failure to notify the court may result in missed court dates and subsequent fines.
3.  If I have a large fine to pay, can I pay it off a little at a time?
   You may apply to the court for a time payment plan. Failure to comply with the terms of the time payment plan may result in a warrant for your arrest being issued or referral to a collection agency.
