Reservations for Pavilions & Fields

Single Date Pavilion & Field Reservations

Park pavilions and fields may be reserved for use.  A permit is required for groups larger than 30, and is highly recommended for smaller groups to ensure shelter/field availability on a certain date and time. 

Permitting Begins

Residents
May 1 through August 14 reservations - begins February 2 (February 1 is a Sunday)
August 15 through April 30 reservations - begins May 1

Non-Residents
May 1 through August 14 reservations - begins April 1
August 15 through April 30 reservation - begins July 1

Types of Events

1. Resident Event - an event for which the permittee is a resident and the event is for the resident and their family and/or friends.  This excludes an event for which the permittee is a resident, but the event is being organized, managed or sponsored by a non-resident.
2. Resident Business Event - an event for a business, school, or homeowners association located in the City of Greenwood Village.
3. Non-Resident Event - an event other than a resident or resident business event.

Times Available

Park pavilions and fields may be rented in 4-hour blocks or for the full day, starting at 10 a.m.  Set up and tear down must be completed within your reserved time slot.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (or dusk; whichever is earlier)

Full Day
10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (or dusk; whichever is earlier)

*The hours of 2 and 4 p.m. are not available for rental as part of a 4-hour block.  This will allow staff time to clean the pavilions in between rentals.

Refund Policy

Cancellations/refunds MUST be requested 5 business days prior to your event in order to receive a refund. There will be a 20% administrative charge for all cancellations. If an event is canceled due to severe weather, a full refund will be available.

Tips for Using the Online Reservation System

• Make sure your address is correct.  If the system does not recognize your GV home address as "Resident", you will need to call 303-486-5773 or email us.
• Resident Businesses must call us at 303-486-5773 or email us after setting up an account to receive the correct discounted rate for reservations made online.

Season-Long Athletic Field Permits

Season-long permits for playing fields are issued to organized youth groups.  Permits are given to the youth organization and not to individual coaches. These permits cannot be requested online.  You will need to email us or call 303-486-5765, 

Please review our park regulations before reserving your park pavilion or permit.

Special Events

Only residents may reserve fields and shelters for Special Events involving any combination of the following: temporary structures, vendors, amplified sound, entertainment, street closures or trail use.  Submit an Online Special Event Permit Application (registration required).

Outside Fitness Provider Registration

Greenwood Village welcomes the use of our parks and trails to conduct fitness instruction. We require that each outside fitness provider be registered and follow all guidelines for all outside fitness providers.   Complete and submit the Outside Fitness Provider Registration Form.
