Mayor and Council Representatives
Mayor George Lantz

Mayor Lantz represents the City of Greenwood Village at large. He was first elected Mayor in 2019 and re-elected in November 2023 to serve his final four-year term that expires in November 2027.
Community Service
George started his Greenwood Village community service as a member of the Greenwood Village Board of Adjustment and Appeals (BOAA), where he served for 12 years as both Chairman and Vice-Chairman. Following his service on the BOAA, George served for eight years on the Greenwood Village Planning and Zoning Commission including serving as Chairman for three years. He was elected to the City Council in 2015 and served four years with his second term as Mayor Pro-Tem. He was elected to his first term as Mayor in 2019. George has been a board member of his homeowner's association board for over 20 years and has served as the President for the
last 20 years.
Professional Career
George and his partners founded a telecommunications company, Voyant Technologies, which they built to be the worldwide market share leader in audio conferencing servers, before they were acquired by Polycom, Inc. Following the purchase, George served as President and CEO of an iodine exploration and production company, which traded on the London Stock Exchange. George previously held positions in several large corporations including Texaco, IBM and ROLM.
Education
George earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Business, both from the University of Wyoming, where he was a four-year letterman and co-captain of the wrestling team.
Personal
George and his wife Debbie have lived in Greenwood Village since 1989, where they raised their two sons John and David. Debbie worked as a nurse for 40 years before recently retiring. John, a Vanderbilt University graduate, and David, a Wake Forest University graduate, both now work in the finance industry in New York. George enjoys travel, fly fishing, golf, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
District 1 - Ann Nelson

Ann was elected to City Council representing District 1 in November 2023 and re-elected in November 2025. Her current term expires in November 2027.
Community Service
Ann has been a homeroom parent more times than she cares to count and served on parent, ecumenical, and other advisory councils. She has been a successful fundraiser for several nonprofit organizations and causes. She is a founding member of The Preserve’s social committee and served on The Preserve’s board of directors for many years, including as president for one year. She has been actively following land-use legislation and other state and local matters that would affect the quality of life in Greenwood Village for many years.
Professional Career
Ann spent her entire career in defense litigation support management and logistics for class action, multi-jurisdictional toxic tort, construction defect, and product liability lawsuits. She permanently “retired” when she moved to Colorado in 2001.
Education
Ann is a 1984 honors graduate of Rosemont College with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in American History.
Personal
Ann and her husband of almost 40 years have one daughter, Abigail, and one cat, Sir Walter the Scot. They have lived in The Preserve since September 2001.
District 1 - Paul Wiesner

Paul was re-elected to City Council representing District 1 in November 2023 and 2025. His current term expires in November 2027.
Community Service
Paul has served on the Greenwood Village Board of Adjustments and Appeals and the Planning and Zoning Commission. As a resident of Green Oaks, Paul was the HOA President for over 8 years. For his children, he served as Treasurer and President of the Home and School Association for All Souls and as Treasurer for the Arapahoe Boys Swim Team. Paul also served as Board of Director and Chairman for the Tennyson Center, a home for neglected, abused, and traumatized children. Lastly, Paul was Director, Treasurer, and President during his involvement with the Denver Active 20-30 that has made significant financial contributions to various children’s
charities along the Front Range.
Professional Career
Most of Paul’s professional career has been in the oil and gas industry for exploration and production (E&P) companies as a CFO. He was involved with two public IPOs and a private venture-backed company. Currently, he is CEO of a real estate technology company that provides a recruiting platform for managing brokers and CEO of White Rhino Energy, another oil and gas E&P company focusing on opportunities in Southeast Asia.
Education
Paul attended Claremont McKenna College in California earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Massachusetts.
Personal
Paul is one of the few people who can claim he is a native of Greenwood Village. He was born in 1965 and grew up in Greenwood Acres. His parents moved from Greenwood Acres in 1974 to Green Oaks. Paul purchased the home in 2006 where he currently lives with his wife Heidi and his three sons, Charlie, Luke, and Brodyn.
District 2 - Jay Schneiderman

Jay was elected to serve on City Council in November 2025. His term expires in November 2027.
Community Service
While Jay is new to public service in Greenwood Village, he served in a Special Forces unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from 2012 to 2015. He continues to serve in the IDF as an active reservist. Even though Jay has not served on a Greenwood Village board or commission, he looks forward to serving the community as a Councilmember and to learning how best to serve the City of Greenwood Village.
Professional Career
Jay began his professional career at the Ministry of Justice of Israel, in the Office of the Administrator General. From there, he moved on to a large Israeli financial technology company, where he led a global operations team that monitored money transfers to banks worldwide. Currently, Jay runs his family-owned insurance brokerage out of his office in Greenwood Village. He is a licensed insurance broker in multiple states.
Education
Jay is a product of the Cherry Creek School District, having attended Greenwood Elementary, West Middle School, and Cherry Creek High School. Jay earned his BA degree in Religious Studies from the University of British Columbia. He holds an MA in International Law from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Personal
Jay moved to Greenwood Village with his family in 1995. After living abroad for more than a decade, Jay and his wife Noa moved back to Greenwood Village in 2022. Together, they are raising their two daughters in the same home where Jay grew up. Noa also works in the insurance industry, after previously working as an attorney in Israel. In his spare time, you can find Jay biking along the High Line Canal or skiing at one of Colorado's many excellent ski resorts.
District 2 - Bob Doyle

Bob was elected to serve on City Council in November 2025. His term expires in November 2027.
Community Service
Bob has actively addressed issues before the City Council and has written on many topics, including residential solar energy, composting, water conservation and redevelopment proposals. He designed and led a neighborhood irrigation water-conservation pilot program in 2014 with Greenwood Village and Denver Water, resulting in 25 percent water savings. Bob ran for City Council in 2021, and although he was not elected at that time, that experience, along with meeting and working with more of his neighbors, led him to run again in 2025. His goal is to make a difference that makes a great community even better.
Professional Career
Bob worked as an Environmental Engineer for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VIII office and as the Environmental Director for the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG). Bob also worked for over 30 years as a consultant advising industry and government on a wide variety of environmental issues, including air pollution, waste cleanup, stormwater management, environmental impact reports, sustainability and more.
Education
Bob graduated from the University of Florida with a BS degree in Systems Engineering and an MS degree in Environmental Engineering.
Personal
Bob was born in Oklahoma City and vacationed in Colorado with his family as a child. After college, he moved west to Colorado. Bob has lived in Greenwood Village with his family for 30 years. Bob is an artist who paints landscapes and cityscapes with oils and pastels. His work has been exhibited at the Curtis Center for the Arts, and he participates annually in the City's Art on the Green event. Bob curated an art exhibit on climate change, called "Our Planet," that was exhibited in Greenwood Village, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Snowmass between 2018 and 2020.
District 3 - Libby Hilton Barnacle - Mayor Pro Tem

Elizabeth "Libby" was first elected to City Council in 2019 and was re-elected in November 2021, 2023, and 2025. Her current term expires in November 2027.
Community Service
Libby started her service to Greenwood Village when she was appointed to the City’s Planning & Zoning Commission in 2015. She was elected to City Council in 2019 and is now serving her third two-year term representing District 3.
Professional Career
Libby is a former Deputy District Attorney for Arapahoe and Adams Counties, as well as a Guardian Ad Litem for Dependent and Neglected children for Arapahoe County.
Education
Libby is a fourth-generation Coloradan and a product of the Cherry Creek School District, having attended Belleview Elementary, Campus Middle and Cherry Creek High Schools. She attended Boston College and the University of Colorado, graduating Cum Laude. She received her law degree in 2001 from the University of Denver.
Personal
Libby has spent her life in Greenwood Village. She has lived in District 3 since 2003 but grew up in Cherry Creek Village North in District 4. She has two daughters, Louise and Emelyn, as well as two Australian Shepherds. When not visiting Louise in Boulder and cheering on the Buffs at Folsom Field, Libby is watching Emmy compete at Level 8 for the University of Denver Junior Pioneers gymnastics team. Libby loves tennis and is often found on the courts at Club Greenwood, where she captains and plays on as many teams as she is allowed.
District 3 - Donna Johnston

Donna was elected to City Council in 2019 and was re-elected in November 2021, 2023, and 2025. Her upcoming term expires in November 2027.
Community Service
Donna has served on the Greenwood Village Board of Adjustments and Appeals since 2017, and as chair of the committee since 2018. Previously, she served as Vice President of the Sundance Hills HOA for several years.
Professional Career
Donna has worked on city, state and federal public policy issues for more than 25 years. She previously worked for AT&T in public relations and public affairs in New Jersey and Washington D.C. and as the state affairs representative for Colorado Rural Electric Association.
Education
Donna has a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University.
Personal
Donna has lived in Greenwood Village since 2010. She is married to Jim Johnston and has two adult sons and a beagle. When not focused on public policy, Donna enjoys Argentine Tango, Pilates, golf, reading and spending time with her family.
District 4 - Tom Stahl

Tom was elected to City Council in 2021 and re-elected in November 2023 and 2025. His current term expires in November 2027.
Community Service
Tom was a multi-year Board Member and Treasurer of the Cherry Creek Village on the Lake HOA and served on the Greenwood Village Board of Adjustments & Appeals from 2012-2018, most recently as Vice Chairman and Chairman. Tom was appointed to the Greenwood Village Planning & Zoning Commission in mid-2021 before running for Council.
Professional Career
Tom has worked as an Industrial Real Estate Broker since 1979, having been affiliated with Colliers since 1987 where he is a principal of the firm.
Education
Tom received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Administration from Arizona State University.
Personal
Tom has been a Cherry Creek Village on the Lake resident for 25 years. His wife Susan is a retired high school English teacher and counselor (Adams County School District #1). Tom and Susan's son Bradford and daughter Grace attended Cherry Creek Schools (Belleview Elementary, Campus Middle and Cherry Creek High School). Bradford graduated from Colorado State University and is a graphic designer living in Denver. Grace graduated from Miami University (Ohio) and is a customer service representative for a furniture company and lives in Chicago.
District 4 - Katrin Mezger

Katrin was elected to City Council in November 2025. Her term will expire in November 2027.
Community Service
Katrin served on the Greenwood Village Planning & Zoning Commission for almost three years before being elected to City Council. While living in Coral Place, she was on the Board of Directors for the Coral Place HOA while also serving as Treasurer of the Campus Middle School PTO.
Professional Career
Katrin has been involved in the family-owned construction business and various architectural design assignments and has spent time in the banking industry before dedicating her time to the well-being of her family.
Education
Katrin received her Master's Degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Munich and completed an apprenticeship program in a German bank. Katrin is fluent in German and learned English through the "school of life."
Personal
Katrin and her family moved to Greenwood Village in 2011. All four of her children attended Cherry Creek High School. A few years ago, she had the opportunity to build a custom home on one of the last vacant lots in District 4, where she lives happily with her family and her two dogs, a beagle named Duke and a corgi named Princeton.
